Master Hutson's History/Resume

Master Hutson started his career in the martial arts under the instruction of Grand Master Ok Hyung Kim both residents of Elgin IL. Master Hutson started his training at Kim's on Aug.13, 1973. Master Hutson received his 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo on Dec 13, 1975 and his 6th Degree Master Level Black Belt on Nov 4, 2006. Master Hutson received his 6th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo on December 13, 2008.
Like his instructor, Master Hutson, truly believes in integrating other martial arts into their training. In Master Hutson's 37 years of training he has come to believe in integrity (being true to one's word). In keeping with the idea of training other disciplines, Master Hutson received his 4th Degree Black Belt in Judo on March 4, 2011.
Master Hutson has received 11 awards in the 37 years he has studied the Martial Arts. To name a few of those awards: AKF Significant Contribution, Black Belt Man of the Year, Outstanding Breaking Technician and Most Dedicated Award.
Master Hutson also has a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Hapki-Do.
Master Hutson also believes in "Humility as a guiding principle in his life." Hence, in his formal education he has received all the educational credentials leading up to his Bachelor of Arts Degree on June of 1995 in "Applied Behavior Sciences."
He also believes in Loyalty and keeping one's word, no matter what the word is representative of, for or to do.
